Student Residence Permit (Titre de Sejour) Renewal
Renewal exclusively via ANEF online — apply 3 months before expiry, €225 fiscal stamp required
For non-EU international students in France, the residence permit (titre de sejour) must be renewed every year (for first-year students) or every 4 years (multi-year permit in some cases). The process is done exclusively online via the ANEF portal.
Exception: Algerian students follow different rules under the Franco-Algerian Agreement of 1968 — they receive a certificat de residence that must be renewed annually. See the Algeria-specific guide.
